Association Aims

To accomplish the Objects and fulfill our Mission, the AMA clubs aim to:

  • establish club cooperatives where members can share in the cost of buying land for the development of driver and rider education parks for members, their guests and visitors;

  • establish club cooperatives where members can share in the cost of buying land for the development of holidiay parks for members, their guests and visitors;

  • provide activities and event insurance, volunteer and management insurance to cover members for the organisation of camping, driving and riding events and their associated activities for fellow members, their guests and visitors;

  • provide members with benefits and advantages associated with camping, driving and riding as well as access to competitively priced insurance cover for house, travel, car, motorcycle, RV and camping equipment;

  • advocate for licensing of young Australians to legally drive or ride age appropriate, registered motor vehicles under supervision, in club driver and rider education parks as well as other designated public land areas;

  • establish an advocacy arm that unites all responsible recreational users including drivers and riders of off highway vehicles, personal water craft users, hunters, horse back riders and vacationing families;

  • provide a program that helps learner licensed drivers that have difficulty accessing a supervisor or registered vehicle to help complete their logbook hours;

  • provide a program that brings inner city or suburban youth to the great outdoors and introduce them to a variety of off road driving experiences that they could never do at home; and

  • fill the void between recreational activities and full competition with amateur racing, which is timed but with an emphasis on fun and camaraderie, not competition and rivalry.
