Leave a lasting gift

The AMA relies on the generosity of people in our community, just like you, to continue with its important work. With your support, we will be able to bring back the weekender for camping and caravanning as well as providing safe, off road places for young Australians to legally learn to drive and ride registered motor vehicles.

Leave a lasting gift. Your bequest is a gift, or legacy, which will benefit so many, for many years to come.

A bequest to the AMA allows you to make a gift which will benefit many, beyond your generation.

Wording for your will

To include the AMA in your will we suggest that you use the following wording (subject to legal advice):

“I bequeath to Australian Motorist Association and or Australian Motorcyclist Association (the residue of my estate), or (a specific sum), or (specified items), or (specified percentage of my estate) free of all duties, and a receipt from an authorised officer of the organisation shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s)”

Should you wish your bequest to be used solely by the Australian Motorist Association and or Australian Motorcyclist Association, the following words are provided as a guidance for use in your will:

“I bequeath to Australian Motorist Association and or Australian Motorcyclist Association for its exclusive use (the residue of my estate), or (a specific sum), or (specified items), or (specified percentage of my estate) free of all duties, and a receipt from an authorised officer of the organisation shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s)”
